Community Guidelines

GullyFynd works because neighbours trust each other. These rules apply to everything you post: the Neighbourhood board, replies, reviews, Ask nearby, Events and chat.

Not allowed

• Anything illegal, or that helps someone break the law.
• Harassment, threats, bullying, hate or discrimination.
• Sexual or explicit content, and anything that sexualises or endangers children.
• Violence, self-harm, or dangerous items and activities.
• Scams, fake offers, spam, and asking for money, deposits or advances from people you have not met.
• Sharing other people's private information (phone numbers, home addresses, photos) without their permission.
• Pretending to be someone else, or fake reviews.
• Selling prohibited items such as weapons, drugs or counterfeit goods.

Rentals and meetups

• See the place or item in person before paying anything. GullyFynd does not handle rental payments or deposits.
• Only list a property you own or are allowed to rent out. The exact location you set is visible to people nearby.
• Meet in a public place where possible, and bring a friend if you can.

Reporting and blocking

Tap Report on any post or reply and choose a reason. You can also email contactus@gullyfynd.com. We review reports and act on them, normally within 24 hours. A post reported by several different people is hidden automatically until we have checked it.

What happens if rules are broken

• We remove the content.
• We may warn, restrict or suspend the account.
• Serious or repeated breaches mean a permanent ban, and we may report illegal activity to the authorities.

Safety for young people

People under 18 can read parts of the board but cannot post or reply, and some categories are hidden from them. If you see anything that puts a child at risk, report it straight away.
